We offer staging versatility; these shows can be performed outdoors or in the theatre and if needed can be technically self contained. This adaptability makes them suitable for urban venues, regional touring, festivals, street performance and all small scale events.
Uke-A-Loony
Uke-A-Loony is the story of a pair of fools who take their music very seriously. Their show begins with a musical presentation that goes horribly wrong when it is discovered an instrument is missing....Will the band fall apart?
Their determination to save the gig takes them on a series of misadventures including wrestling with a wheelie bin, enduring a thunderstorm and becoming superheros.
Uke-A-Loony is a delightful and entertaining expose of the clown's imagination.
The show uses the skills of physical theatre, circus, clown and live music and can be followed with a lecture demonstration of the concepts and skills used in the show including interactive exercises that involve the whole audience.
Uke-A-Loony is a 2 hander stage show that can also be performed solo and has a broad family appeal but is ideally suited to children ages 4-10.
Mister Hardey's Suitcase
Mister Hardy the unique and highly animated clown could be described as Charlie Chaplin crossed with a ferret in a sock.
In his show “Mister Hardys Suitcase” he takes his audience on a journey through his world of poetic absurdity. Constantly on the look out for moments of real life strangeness this performance is a continuous roll of improvisations punctuated with feats of physical skill.
He is the worlds first carpet juggler and also manipulates clubs, balls, coats, hats and tape measures and does a handstand or two. True to his clown bones he stumbles his way through the show stopping only briefly for a romantic interlude that climaxes with a 5-object juggle on a stack of precarious suitcases.
He will surprise, delight and entertain!
Mr Hardy's Kids Show
This is a highly interactive show with maximum silliness and plenty of surprises. Mr Hardy uses interactive games, circus skills, mime, music and magic to weave a rich tapestry of clowning adventure. Before the show even begins laughter starts with a bumbling set up where everything goes wrong! But with the help of the audience he gets going. Once going the show does not stop until the finale instrumental piece played on the Ukulele, ON THE UNICYCLE! Accompanied by the all-star band from the audience playing some very unusual instruments.
